Please wear what is most comfortable for you at the appointment. However, we do advise wearing loose fitted clothing due to the fact that your injury area will need to be uncovered/exposed to complete our examination and treatment.
-
We advise arriving about 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. We may need you to fill out some registration paperwork 1st before we start.
-
Initial consultations usually last between 30→60mins*. This gives us enough time to take a thorough history, examine your injury in more detail to set a plan of action, how many sessions you may need to get the injury better and lastly start off some initial treatment. Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes each.
-
Each and every course of treatment to get an injury better will be different. Therefore the costs will vary accordingly. Prices here start from £45 per session. To get an accurate quote for a full course of treatment with us, please contact the clinic for more information.
-
We offer both 1/2hr and full hour sessions of Sports Massage here. Prices start from £40.
Please get in touch for an accurate quote. -
Shockwave Therapy treatment is delivered as part of Physiotherapy treatment, for a supplementary fee (on top of each consultation fee). Research suggests the optimum amounts of sessions needed for it to work is between 3-6 sessions. You can either Pay&Go or book a course of treatment upfront (which is better value).
Get in touch -here- to find out more about Shockwave Therapy.
-
Every injury is different and we alll heal at different rates, so it’s hard to give a set answer. One thing that is certain is that nobody gets better in just 1 session alone (its just not physically possible). On average simple/acute injuries tend to resolve within about 6 visits, but more ongoing/chronic conditions may take anywhere between 9-12+ visits. To find out more please schedule an Initial Consultation with us.
-

It is common to feel a little stiff and sore after a Physio or Sports Massage appointment, or after doing rehab exercises we set at home. This is entirely normal and should settle within 24hrs. Yes, Physiotherapy is safe and natural form of treatment for women during pregnancy. It can be highly beneficial as the body goes through a number of major physical changes. Typically lower back and pelvic pains are the most commonly reported symptoms we see here. At your Initial Consultation we will take a detailed history about which stage pregnancy you are in and the various check-ups and scans you have undergone to date before we start. This will help guide what advice and treatments we can offer you. If in any doubt please consult with your GP / midwife before starting physio.
-
Yes. Most cases will require some form of Physio after surgery to get you moving again like before (particularly after orthopaedic procedures). Without it you may not get back to your favourite sport, hobby or job as well! Please liaise with your Consultant first to find out when we are allowed to start treatment with you.
-
Yes, depending on what your sport discipline is we can carry out a sports-screening to identify any structural imbalances or weaknesses that might have predisposed you to the issue you’re suffering from.
We can then devise a treatment and management plan to help you prevent your issue from recurring again. If you are a Runner then do check out our Gait Analysis service.
